The correct option is B 2 mv
Block was moving along +ve x axis direction initially and after striking the obstacle, it moves along +ve y axis direction.
i.e initial velocity vi=v ^i
and final velocity, vf=v ^j

Then, Impulse, J=m Δv
J=m(vfvi)=m (v ^jv ^i)
|J|=m ×v2+v2
|J|=2 mv
|J| is the magnitude of impulse acting on the block.
