The correct option is C $30 N$
Given : $F = 40$ N $W = 50$ N
From figure, $F^{'} = F$ $s i n 30^{o} = 40 \times 0.5 = 20$ N
$∴$ Normal force $N = W - F^{'} = 50 - 20 = 30$ N
