let the volume of the block be V and density of wood be ρ.

The volume of the block above the surface= 14V

The volume of the immersed block (v) =V14V= 34V

We know, Weight of the block = weight of water displaced by immersed part of the block.

i.e. V x ρ x g = 34V x 1 x g

ρ = 34 = 0.75 g cm3
