The correct option is A 6 m/s

Here, we are given that the boat is initially at rest.

Thus, u=0, mass m=3000kg, distance s=3m.

Substituting, we have

a=F/m=1.8×1043000=6m/s2

But from equation of motion, we have v2u2=2as.

Substituting the values,
v20=2×6×3=36
v=6m/sec.

Thus, the velocity of the boat is 6m/sec.
