At the bottom most point, let the tension be T is upwards & weight of bob is downwards


By the FBD of the bob at the bottom most point, we get

Tmg=mv2R
T=mg+mv2R

=mg+m(7gR)2R=8mg

Where the mass m of the bob is given as 500 g=0.5 kg

T=8×0.5×10=40 N

Hence option A is the correct answer
