Solution

Example for a body can have zero average velocity but not zero

  1. When a body moves from a reference point and returns back after some time its average speed and average velocity are zero then the displacement of the object is zero.
  2. But in the case of average speed, the body has covered a significant distance so the magnitude of the average speed is not zero.
