The correct option is A 30 m
The distance cover in 2s is S=ut+12gt2=u(2)+0.5(g)(2)2=2u+2g ..(1)
and the distance in traveled in next second is S=u+g/2(2n1)=u+g/2(2×31)=u+5g/2 ...(2)
Now, 2u+2g=u+5g/2 or u=g/2
Now putting the value of u in (1), S=2(g/2)+2g=3g=3(10)=30m
