Solution

The correct option is A 5×1014
Given:
q=80 μC=80×106 C

On applying, q=ne

Here e=1.6×1019 C

80×106=(n)(1.6×1019)

n=80×1061.6×1019

n=5×1014

Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
Why this question ?Tip: The charge q can take onlyspecific discrete values, which is anintegral multiple of charge of anelectron, e=1.6×1019 Cmeansq=ne, n=0,1,2(bothpositive and negative integers)
