The correct option is D 0 ms1

Let u be the initial velocity of the body, v be the final velocity, a be the acceleration and s be the distance traveled.
Given, u=4 ms1, a=4 ms2 (since the body is decelerating), and s=2 m
From the third equation of motion,
v2 = u2 + 2as v2=42+(2×4×2)
v=42+(2×4×2)=0 ms1
