Question

A body has an initial velocity of 4m/s and deceleration of 4m/ss, then what is the final velocity after travelling 2m?

Open in App
Solution

u = 4 m/s
a = -4 m/s^2
s = 2m

We know,
v^2 = u^2 + 2as

=> v^2 = 4^2 + 2*(-4)*2
v^2 = 16 - 16
v^2 = 0
v = 0

So, the final velocity is zero.
