The correct option is B 16C
Let T0 is the temperature of the surroundings, Ti is the initial temperature of body and Tt is the temperature of body at time t.
According to Newton's laws of cooling we have,
loge(TiT0TtT0)=5t

From 80C to 64C in 5 minutes,
loge(80T064T0)=5K ...(1)
and from 64C to 52C in next 5 minutes,
loge(64T052T0)=5K ...(2)

Equating Eqs (1) and (2), we get
80T064T0=64T052T0
which gives T0=16C, which is choice (b).
