A body is acted upon by a force. State two conditions when the work done is zero .

Open in App
Solution

Dear student, Work done can be zero if the body is not moving due to that force and displacement is zero so work done will be zero. The second condition is that the body is moving in perpendicular direction to the force thus angle between force and displacement will be 90° . W= F*d*cos (x) And cos 90°=0, so work done will be zero. Regards
