A body is dropped freely from the window of a train. Will the time of the free fall be equal in all the following cases?

(1) the train is stationary,

(2) the train moves with constant velocity,

(3) the train moves with an acceleration.

The time period is same in all three situations, because in all cases
1) initial vertical velocity is 0
2)acceleration on vertical direction is g
3)height of drop is same in three cases.

The distance moved in the horizontal direction is different.but the time taken is same .
