$v_{u} = u c o s θ = 50 c o s 30^{0} = 30 m s^{- 1} v_{y} = u s i n θ - g t = 40 - 10 t ∴ v = \sqrt{v_{x}^{2} + v_{y}^{2}} = 40 30^{2} + {(40 - 10 t)}^{2} = 40^{2} \Rightarrow t = 4 - \sqrt{7} s$
