Question

A body is projected with a velocity of 60m/s at an angle 300 to horizontal :

Open in App
Solution

Initial velocity:
v=vcos300^i+vsin300^j=60×32^i+60×12^j=303^i+30^j
vy=60×sin300gt
vx=60cos300t
After 2 secs:
vy=60×1210×2=20;vx=60×32=303
Hence, v=303^i+10^j
sx=303×2=603
sy=30×212×10×22=40
s=sx^i+sy^j=603^i+40^j
After 3 secs:
vy=60×1210×3=0;
x=60×32=303
Hence, v=303^i+0×^j=303^i
