Given,
Reading in air = 5 kg
Weight of the body = 5×g=50 N
Reading in liquid = 3 kg
Apparent weight of the body in liquid = 3×g=48 N
Apparent loss in weight = 5048=2 N
Therefore, upthrust acting on the body = 2 N=ρl Vb g

Given, Vb=200 cm3=200×106 m3

200×106×ρl×g=2
ρl=22000×106=1000 kg/m3
