Since mg=10 N, the projectile will move with a constant speed of u cos θ in a straight line for 5 s once it reaches the highest point and then continues its usual parabolic motion thereafter.



Actual range =R2+u cos θ t0+R2
=R+u cos θ t0
=u2 sin2θg+u cos θ t0
=502×sin 6010+50×cos 30×5
=1253+1253
=2503 m
