A body of mass 10 kg is moving with a velocity of 4 m s−1. Find the kinetic energy and momentum of the body respectively.
80 J and 40 kg m s−1
Kinetic energy (K.E.)=12mv2
So, K.E.=12×10×42=80 J
Momentum (P)=mv, where m is the mass and v is the velocity.
P=10×4=40 kg m s−1
