The correct option is A 4 Newtons
Given, m=2 kg
Using Newton's equation of motion,
s=ut+12at2
In first second, s1 =3 meters distance is covered,
so,
s1=u(1)+12a(1)2
s1=u+12a
solving,
2u+a=6...........................(1)

In next second, a distance of 1m is covered,
so,
s2=s1+1
u(2)+12a(2)2=3+1=4
solving,
2u+a=6.........................(2)
Solving equations (1) and (2),
a=2m/s2 u=4m/s
So, Force=ma
=2×(2)=4N
