The correct option is C zero, 6 m/s2
N=2g=20 N, Hence fs=μsN=10N

since applied force Fa=5 N in case (a) is 5 N<10 N, the body will be at rest

Fb=20 N in case (b)
fk=μk N=8 N: since Fb>fk in the second case, the body will acceletate.
Hence 208=2aa=6 m/s2
