The correct option is C 5 : 1
Let V be the velocity of the bodies after collision.
By using momentum conservation for inelastic collision, we get,
m1u1+m2u2=(m1+m2)V
V=m1u1+m2u2m1+m2
But m1=20gm,m2=80gm,u2=0cm/s
V=20u1+80(0)20+80=u15
K.E.Before=12×20×u12=10u12
K.E.After=12×(20+80)×u2125=2u21
K.E.BeforeK.E.After=5
