A body of mass 25 kg has a momentum of 125 kg.m/s. Calculate the velocity of the body.

Open in App
Solution

We know that:
Momentum = mass × velocity
= m × v
Here, mass, m = 25 kg
And, momentum = 125 kg.m/s
Putting these values in the above formula, we get:
125 kg.m/s = 25 × velocity
Velocity=12525Velocity=125525Velocity=5 m/s
