Given that Collision is completely inelastic,

If both masses have velocities in the same direction,

2×3+1×4=(2+1)×v

v=103 m/s

If both masses have velocities in the oppsoite direction,

2×31×4=(2+1)×v

v=23 m/s

Hence option B,D is the correct answer.
