Let the initial speed of the colliding body be u and mass of the target body be m
Also let the velocity of colliding body after the collision be v1 i.e v1=u2
Given : m1=3kg m2=m
u1=u u2=0 e=1
Using v1=(m1em2)u1+(1+e)m2u2m1+m2
v1=(31×m)u+(1+1)m(0)3+m

v1=u2=(31×m)u3+m
m=1 kg
