Given that,
m=5 kg
u=v0=30^i+40^j m/s
Hence, uy=40 m/s

F=(^i+5^j) N
Hence Fy=5 N

From second law of motion we get:-
F=maa=(Fm)

ay=(Fym)=55
ay=1 m/s2

From equation of motion we get:-
vy=uy+at
At time t, velocity vy becomes zero
0=uy+at
uy=at
t=401=40 secs
