Given :

Mass of body , M = 6 kg .

Water displaced by body , m = 100 gm = 0.1 kg .

Therefore , apparent mass is , M=Mm

M=60.1=5.9kg

Now , we are required to find the apparent weight of the body .

We know , weight is given as :

W = mg , where g=10m/s2

Putting apparent weight in above equation , we get :

w=5.9×10=59N

Therefore , apparent weight of the body is 59 N .
