The correct option is B 18 m/s
The area under acceleration and time graph gives us the change in velocity of the object viz.=Finalinitialvelocity.
Area of under the graph can be calculated by right angle triangle formula=12×Base×altitude
Here base= time take to accelerate by an amount of 5m/s2(altitude)
Thus change of velocity =12×6×5=15
As mentioned above, change in velocity = finalinitialvelocity=15 m/s
Thus the maximum velocity the body will attain =15+3=18 m/s
