A bookseller buys $220$ books at $R s 25$ each. He sold than at a loss of $5 %$ Find the selling price of each books

Cost price $= 220 \times 25 = 5500$ Rs.
Selling price $= 5550 - 5$ % of $5500$
$= 5500 - \frac{5}{100} \times 5500$
$= 5500 - 275 = 5225$ Rs.
So, selling price of each book $= \frac{5225}{220} =$ Rs. $23.75$
