A bottle can contain 2 litre of milk. 4 such filled bottles and of another such bottle were emptied into another vessel. How many litres of milk does the vessel contain now?

Quantity of milk in a bottle = 2 L

Quantity of milk in 4 such bottles = 2 L × 4 = 8 L

Quantity of milk in of another such bottle = × 2 L = L

∴ Quantity of milk in the vessel = 8 L + L
