Question

A bottle gets crushed when all its air is removed give reason

Open in App
Solution

When there was air in the bottle, the pressure exerted on it from outside was nullified(cancelled) by the air exerting pressure from inside.

But when air from inside was removed there was nothing to nullify(cancel) the pressure exerted on bottle from air outside.

So the pressure outside crushes it from all sides.
