$\left(1\right)\frac{1}{4}\left(2\right)\frac{2}{5}$

Since, Total no. of balls $=7+8+5=20$
(1) No. of white balls $=5$
$\therefore$ probability of getting a white ball = $\frac{5}{20}=\frac{1}{4}$
(2) No. of balls that are neither red nor white $=8$
$\therefore$ probability of getting a ball that are neither red nor white = $\frac{8}{20}=\frac{2}{5}$
