A box contains cards numbered from 1 to 50. One card is drawn at random from the box. Find the probability that the number on the card is
(a) a perfect square.
(b) a number divisible by 6.

(a) No. of perfect square between 1 to 50 =7 (from 12 to 72)

Therefore the probability that the card is drawn is a perfect square =750

(b)No.of integers divisible by 6 between 1 to 50 =8 (from 6×16×8)

Therefore the probability that the card is drawn is divisible by 6 =850=425
