Let height of the tree =h Given, distance AB=70m and angle of elevation ∠B=60∘,√3=1.73 ∴ In right angled △ABT, we have tanB=ATAB ⇒tan60∘=h70 ⇒√3=h70 ⇒h=70×√3 =70×1.73 =121.10m ∴ height of the tree =121.10m.
