Solution

When the boy gets chicken pox the immune system becomes active against the virus (Varicella zoster) responsible for the disease. The immune cells attack the foreign pathogen and also generate antibodies in response to it. For the rest of the life of the child he does not get the disease as any future attack by the pathogen will result in a faster response of the immune system. The antibodies in response will be generated sooner and the infection will be treated faster. Due to this the chances of the symptoms of the disease being seen are less.
