Solution

The correct option is D 56 kgs
A boy needs 100 g of vegetables per day.
20 boys will need 100 × 20 g = 2000 g of vegetables.

1000 g=1 kg 1 g=11000 kg2000 g=2000×11000 kg = 2 kg
i.e., 20 boys need 2kgs of vegetables in a day.

1 week = 7 days
4 weeks = 4 × 7 days = 28 days
So, the amount of vegetables needed for 20 boys for 4 weeks is 28 × 2 kg = 56 kg.
