Scores done by the boy out of 20 are,

15,17,16,7,10,12,14,16,19,12,16

To find the median of the data, we have to arrange it into either ascending order or descending order.

7,10,12,12,14,15,16,16,16,17,19

Here, the number of observations are =11 (odd)

If n is odd the (n+12)th observation

Median =(11+12)th observation

=6 th observation

Now, in 7,10,12,12,14,15,16,16,16,17,19

6 th observation is 15.

Therefore, The median of the marks is 15.

Hence, Option A is correct.
