A) Time $=1$ hour and $45$ mins ($45$ mins $=\frac{45}{60}$ hours)

Time $=1+\frac{3}{4}=\frac{7}{4}$hours

Distance $=$ Speed $\times$ Time

$=5\times \frac{7}{4}$

$=8.75$ km

B) Time $=$ Distance $÷$ Speed

$=\frac{8}{5}$

$=1.6$ hours

$=1$ hour $+0.6$ hours

$=1$ hour $+0.6\times 60$ minutes

$=1$ hour $+36$ minutes

$=1$ hour and $36$ mins
