A boy who resides near a powerloom is always exposed to high noise levels where he may have to talk to his coworkers consistently at high voice. In course of time he develops hearing loss. Since the normal audible levels because of the hearing loss seems inaudible to him , he speaks in a voice that he feels would be audible to others. As such he gradually develops a habit of speaking out loud.
