  4. Therefore, the image of the boy will be formed at 2 cm behind the mirror.

Step 3: Finding the width of the mouth's image,

  1. The size of the image is equal to the size of the object in a plane mirror.
  2. Therefore, the image of the boy's mouth is 5 cm wide.

Hence, the image of the boy will be 5 cm wide and will be formed at 2 cm behind the mirror.
