Given (CV)f=50MJ/kg
V=800m/s
F=6kN
Thrust power =F.V =6×800=4800kW
˙mf=fuelconsumption
=0.23600×6000kg/s=13kg/s
Heat input ˙mf(CV)_f = 13×50×103kW
=50,0003kW
Overall efficiency 480050000/3×100% = 28.8%
