The correct option is C 10.5 cm

Let t1 and t2 be the real depth of bubble from both sides.

Here, μg=Real depthApparent depth

μg=t1(dapp)1

or t1=1.5×5=7.5 cm

Similarly,
μg=t2(dapp)2

or, t2=1.5×2=3 cm

So, the thickness of the slab is,
t=t1+t2
t=7.5+3=10.5 cm
