We take the required number of years=x.
We know that Final value=initialvalue±((initialvalue)×time×rate100).
The value of the building depriciates.
The rate will be negative.
So, for the building, the value after x yrs. will be
=133100133100×10100×x=13310013310x.......(i)
For the land the value increases
The rate is positive.
So, for the land, the value after x yrs. will be
72900+72900×10100×x=72900+7290x.......(i).
By the given condition,
13310013310x=72900+7290x
20600x=60200x=6020020600yrs.=2.92yrs3yrs
