$v^2$=$u^2$ + 2as

0 = ${19.6}^2$ - (2 x 9.8 x s)

s = 19.6 m

It will reach a height of 19.6 m

(b) v = u + at

0 = 19.6 - 9.8t

t = 2s

So,time taken to reach the highest point is 2s.
