The correct option is B 3×102 Ns

Given that,
Mass of the bullet m=103 kg


To find impulse J1 :

J1=103[10cos60(20)]

J1=15×103 Ns

Similarly, to find impulse J2, we have

J2=103[10sin600]

J2=53×103 Ns

The magnitude of resultant impulse is given by
J=J21+J22

J=103(15)2+(53)2

J=3×102 Ns

Hence, option (b) is correct answer.
