## The correct option is C 0.003 gKE=12mBv2=12×101000×(20)2=12×12×400=2 J So 50% of this is lost which is 1 J and this is adsorbed by ice to melt into water. 80 cal→1 g 80×4⋅2 J→1g 1 J→180×4.2=0.003 g So 0.003 g of ice melts into water.
