I am really sorry, but this question is out of syllabus and I genuinely want the solution and that's why I put wrong chapter name.

Solution

distance 8 cm

u =?

v=0

force -100N

mass= 0.01 kg

F=ma

-100=0.01×a

-100/0.01= a

-10000 m/s^2

v^2-u^2=2as

0-u^2 =2×-10000×0.08

-u^2 = - 1600

u=40 m /s
