Given, a bullet train can travel 150 km in 30 mins.

Hence, speed=15030 =5 km/min

We know that, if the speed increases, the time required to cover the same distance will be less.

So, Speed(x)1Time(y)

x1x2 = y2y1

Given,
x1 = 5 km/min
y1 = 30 min
x2 = 10 km/min
and y2=time required

510 = y230
y2 = 30 × 510 = 15 min
