man of engine bus =3×103 kg [1ton=103kg]
speed of bus =18×518
v=5m/s [convert kmph to m/s]
From the adjacent figure, the bus engine should apply a constant force of F=mgsinθ so that it moves upwards
at a constant speed. (Neta=0)
So, power applied by engine:
P=Fv
=mgvsinθ
Putting values,
P=3×103×10×5×sin(370)
=15×104×35=9×104P=90 KW
