The correct option is C 240 kms
Given: Distance travelled in 30 mins (0.5 hours) = 40 km
To find: Distance traveled in 180 mins (3 hours)

Since, Distance (x) Time taken(y)

x1y1=x2y2

x1=40 kmy1=30 miny2=180 minx2=Distance travelled in 180 min

On substituting the values,

4030=x2180

x2=40×18030

x2=240 km

Hence, the distance travelled in 180 minutes is 240 km.
