Solution

The correct option is A 1 kg
Three - quarters of a kg = 750 g
1 kg = 1000 g

For 1 kg cake,

Weight of cake
= weight of wheat flour used + weight of sugar used
1 kg = 750 g + weight of sugar used
1000 g = 750 g + weight of sugar used
weight of sugar used = 250 g

So for making 1 kg of cake 250 g of sugar is required.
Therefore,
Sugar required for making 4 kg of cake
= weight of sugar required for 1 kg × 4
= 250 g × 4
= 1000 g
= 1 kg
